Website Administrator Description

The website is now the main source of information to sisters who are interested in the conference, as well as the vehicle by which they register, join the instant choir and indicate temple sessions that they are interested in attending during the weekend.

The "backside" of the website is also this area which has the Committee organization chart and pages for each area of responsibility with the resources and historical data to assist committee members in fulfilling their responsibilities.

Timeline

Before

As new people join the committee, update the "Committee Organization" page of the website.

Once an image has been selected to be used in the design for the year, create a new banner for the homepage using the image. Update the banner on each page of the website to match.

As soon as the date, theme, etc. have been updated for the upcoming conference, add this information to the website.

Once breakout presenters have been confirmed, add their picture, bio, and presentation title to the website.

Review the FAQs page and update any information that has changed since the last conference.

Review all other pages on the website and make updates as needed.

Ask committee members to compile information about their role to be added to the website, for the benefit of sisters who serve in their role in the future (as well as to jog their memory if they'll be serving again in that capacity).

Once every two years (currently mid-January during odd years), pay the fee to weebly.com to maintain the website. See below for details.

During

Help at the conference as needed.

After

After the conference, request that committee members provide you with information to update the information about their role on the website. Then add the information to their respective role descriptions. This information will benefit sisters who serve in their role in the future. This is important information that helps the conference run smoothly from year to year.
