2025 Opening Keynote Speakers

Traci Hunter Abramson

Picture
Traci Hunter Abramson was born in the western United States, where she lived until moving to Venezuela for a study abroad program. After graduating from Brigham Young University, she worked in international finance, eventually resigning in order to raise her family.

She has written more than fifty best-selling novels and is an eight-time Whitney Award winner, including 2017 and 2019 Best Novel of the Year. She was also recently announced as the Whitney Awards Outstanding Achievement Award winner.

​Traci loves to travel and recently retired after twenty-six years coaching her local high school swim team. She also currently serves as part of her stake’s communications committee and as an area temple and family history advisor.

Sister J. Anette Dennis
​Relief Society General Presidency, First Counselor

Sister J. Anette Dennis was sustained as first counselor in the Relief Society general presidency for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in April 2022. At the time of her call, she was serving as a member of the Primary General Advisory Council.  
 
Sister Dennis has served in numerous Church callings. She and her husband served as mission leaders in the Ecuador Guayaquil West Mission. A year later they served together in the Guayaquil Ecuador Temple as counselor in the temple presidency and assistant to the matron.
 
Sister Dennis studied elementary education and Spanish at Brigham Young University. She loves to read and to travel because she loves to learn. She and her husband, Jorge Dennis, are the parents of four children and eleven grandchildren.
