The Terms of Reference for the Women's Conference was written in a cooperative effort of the Organizing Committee Executive (chaired by Carrie Chiles) and the Asia Area Presidency under direction of Elder Randy Funk in 2016. It came in response to the rapidly growing and evolving nature of the A.S.I.A. Women's Conference. In order for the Conference to continue as a unique event not sponsored by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, but approved and supported by the Asia Area Presidency, a clear understanding of the objectives and purpose and procedures for the Conference was laid out.
This document should be reviewed each year by the organizing committee to ensure the integrity and quality of the Conference.
In addition, the Area Presidency has asked that each presenter or speaker submit a priesthood leader endorsement form to the committee. This is for the purpose of maintaining the integrity of the conference and a measure to help ensure presentations and messages shared are in line with the teachings of the Church. (see form below)
